The NSS Unit of Mangaldai Commerce College successfully organised a Cleanliness Drive on 19th June, 2026 within and around the college campus. The programme was conducted with the objective of promoting environmental awareness, cleanliness, hygiene, and the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment among students and the community.
The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers, who actively engaged in cleaning the college premises, classrooms, corridors, gardens, and the surrounding areas. Equipped with cleaning tools, the volunteers worked with dedication and a strong sense of social responsibility to ensure a cleaner and healthier campus environment.
The programme not only enhanced the cleanliness of the campus but also instilled in the volunteers the values of discipline, teamwork, civic responsibility, and community service. Through their active participation, the students demonstrated the true spirit of the National Service Scheme by contributing meaningfully towards environmental conservation and public welfare.
The Cleanliness Drive concluded successfully with a renewed commitment from the volunteers to continue promoting cleanliness and environmental sustainability through similar activities in the future.
