Mangaldai Commerce College, a premier institution of Commerce in the state and the only Commerce College in the Darrang district, was established by some dedicated and noted educationist, in the year 1982. It was possible only due to the aspiration of the people of Darrang, their help and cooperation under the relentless and untiring efforts of a hand of dedicated workers.
The college sprawling scenic ad serene campus spreads over a vast area on the north fringe of the town, at a distance of nearly 1.5 km from the ASTC Bus Stop and easily accessible from the town. Situated in a natura setting the river Mangaldai on the western side, the campus houses several buildings catering to the academic needs and support facilities.
