A financial literacy awareness progarmme was held in Mangladai Commerce College on 18th September, 2025. The Programme was organized by the Department of Finance, Mangaldai Commerce College in collaboration with Indian Institute of Bank Management, Guwahati & IQAC, Mangaldai Commerce College. The progarmme was chaired by Mr. Ranjit Sarma, Principal (i/c) of the college and the objective of the meeting was explained by Dr. Parikshit Barman, Head of the Department of Finance of the college. Dr. Rupali Sarma, Assistant Librarian, Indian Institute of Bank Management, Guwahati, Mamoni Choudhury & Mamoni Das as were the resource persons. Dr. Rupali Sarma, Assistant Librarian, Indian Institute of Bank Management, Guwahati, delivered a speech on economic awareness among the students covering various aspects like savings and investment, responsible borrowing, digital banking, processes and protection from economic scams. The meeting was also attended by IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Dhiren Deka and other faculty members and students of the college.
