The Sports Club in association with IQAC, Mangaldai Commerce College has organized “National Sports Day” on the occasion of MAJOR DHYAN CHAND’s Birthday on the 29th of August, 2025 with full enthusiasm. As part of it, the Sports Club has conducted Carrom, Ludo, Chess, Arm Wrestling and Debate competitions for boys and girls on 29-08-2025. Students came forward with enthusiasm to participate in the events.
Mr. Ranjit Sarma, Principal (i/c), graced the occasion and stated the importance of National Sports Day, which is celebrated every year on the birthday of hockey wizard "Major Dhyan Chand."
Mr. Safi Ahmed Humayun Qureshi, Convenor, Sports Club, Mangaldai Commerce College stated that the college is encouraging the students to participate in various sports and games apart from education. Prizes were distributed to winners and runners-up. The principal (i/c), sports coordinator, staff members and students have participated in the event.
