Mangaldai Commerce college solemnly observed SOK Divas on 16th August, 2025. The programme started by Mr. Ranjit Sarma, Principal (i/c) of the college and in his speech, Mr. Sarma highlighted the significance of observing SOK Divas on 16th August every year in order to mourn the tragic death of innocent children and individuals in the bomb blast during the Independence Day celebration at Dhemaji in the year 2004. As a mark of respect, the National Flag was flown at half-mast. Mangaldai Commerce College observed one minutes’ silence in memory of the departed souls. A solemn pledge was taken by all teaching staff, non teaching staff and students of the college to stand united against all forms of terrorism and militant violence and also to work for peace and harmony in the state and to raise voices against all acts of violence.
