The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with the Academic Monitoring Committee of Mangaldai Commerce College, successfully organized an insightful discussion programme on the Introduction of the Fourth Year of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) on 29th May 2026 at the college premises.
The programme was conducted with the objective of familiarizing the students & faculty members with the structure, objectives, and implementation strategies of the newly introduced fourth year under the FYUGP framework, in accordance with the provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The session was formally introduced and addressed by Dr. Runumoni Lahkar Das, Principal, Mangaldai Commerce College. In her address, she elaborated on the significance of the fourth year of FYUGP, highlighting its academic advantages, research opportunities, multidisciplinary approach, and its role in enhancing students’ employability and higher education prospects. She also discussed the operational aspects of the programme and the responsibilities of faculty members in ensuring its successful implementation.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Principal, faculty members, IQAC and Academic Monitoring Committee for their active support and participation.
