On 27th October 2025, Mangaldai Commerce College made special arrangements for girl students to virtually attend the Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Aasoni 2.0 Cheque distribution event which was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The check distribution ceremony was graced by the Chairman of Assam Fisheries Development Corporation Limited and Ex MLA of 50 No Mangaldai Assembly Mr. Gurujyoti Das as the Chief Guest.
The Programme started with the welcome address delivered by Mr. Ranjit Sarma, Principal (i/c) of Mangaldai Commerce College. In his speech, he highlighted the manifold benefits of the Nijut Moina Aasoni scheme for girl students and its positive impact on society.
The event was hosted by Mr. Ujjwal Jyoti Saharia Assistant Co-Ordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Mangaldai Commerce College. The faculty members, office staff and more than 154 girls’ students of the college actively participated in the event. Finally, vote of thanks offered to the Chief Guest Mr. Gurujyoti Das, Faculty members and students for making the programme successful. At the end of the programme, Hon'ble Principal (i/c) of the college Mr. Ranjit Sharma formally distributed the checks among the students along with Shri Gurujyoti Das who was present as the Chief Guest.
