On 13th August, 2025 a Mass Pledge-taking event is organized at Mangaldai Commerce College under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The programme is inaugurated by Mr. Ranjit Sarma, Principal (i/c) of Mangaldai Commerce College. In his inaugural address, Mr. Sarma emphasized that parents, teachers, social workers, and youth leaders play a vital role in building a drug-free society. He further stated that education, open dialogue, and active community engagement are powerful tools in the fight against substance abuse. Subsequently, the pledge was solemnly taken by all teaching and non-teaching staff and students of the college. The event served as a powerful reminder of the collective responsibility in creating a healthier, drug-free future for the next generation. The programme has been initiated by Mrs. Poonam Das Saharia, Convenor, Health & Hygiene Cell Mangaldai Commerce College.
