A one-day workshop on “How to Prepare Internship Report” was organized on 27th October 2025 by the Internship Cell of Mangaldai Commerce College in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The workshop was conducted exclusively for the B. Com 5th Semester students to guide them in preparing a structured, comprehensive, and academically sound internship report.
The programme commenced at 12:00 noon in Hall No. 4 of Mangaldai Commerce College. The session began with a brief introduction by the Coordinator of the Internship Cell, who highlighted the importance of internship training and the significance of preparing a well-documented report as part of the academic curriculum.
During the workshop, the faculty members explained the key components of an internship report, including the cover page format, certificate and declaration, methodology, organizational profile, analysis of work experience, learning outcomes, and conclusion. Students were also informed about formatting guidelines, referencing styles, and common mistakes to avoid. Practical examples and templates were demonstrated for better understanding.
The interactive session allowed students to clarify their doubts regarding structure, content organization, and presentation. The workshop proved highly beneficial in enhancing students’ report-writing skills and preparing them for the final submission of their internship reports.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks offered by the faculty member of the Internship Cell, expressing gratitude to the resource person, IQAC, faculty members, and students for their active participation.
