The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Ranjit Sarma, Principal (i/c) of Mangaldai Commerce College. In his address, Mr. Sarma highlighted the importance of educational awareness and emphasized the wide scope and growing relevance of commerce education in shaping students’ futures.
During the session, Mrs. Minu Bora, Head of the Department of Assamese, Mangaldai Commerce College, interacted with the students and explained the significance of commerce subjects and their long-term benefits in career development.
The visiting students were also taken on a guided tour of the Digital Classroom, Library, and classrooms, where they gained valuable exposure to the college’s academic infrastructure and learning resources.
The initiative aimed to motivate and inspire young learners to view commerce as a dynamic, practical, and rewarding field of study, opening doors to a brighter and more secure future.
