The Annual College Week–2026 of Mangaldai Commerce College was successfully organized from 24th March to 31st March, 2026. The inaugural ceremony commenced at 10:30 a.m. on 24th March, with the hoisting of the College Week flag by the Principal, Dr. Runumoni Lahkar Das. This was followed by a brief and motivating address, encouraging students to actively participate and exhibit their talents in various sports and cultural activities.
The week-long programme was organized by the Mangaldai Commerce College Students’ Union (MCCSU) under the overall supervision of Mr. Ujjwal Jyoti Saharia, Overall, In-charge, College Week, and Mr. Safi Ahmed Humayun Qureshi, Assistant In-charge, College Week. The cultural segment was coordinated by Mr. Kamaleswar Deka, In-charge of Cultural Activities.
A wide range of sports and cultural competitions were conducted, ensuring enthusiastic participation from students. The major events included Badminton, Cricket, Volleyball, Chess, Carrom, Tug of War, Arm Wrestling, Shot Put, Discus Throw, Ludo, Memory Test, Rangoli, Cooking and Quiz competitions. Cultural and literary events such as Art, Letter Writing, Poem Writing and Dance competitions were also organized.
The valedictory function and prize distribution ceremony were held on 31st March, 2026 at the college campus. Winners of various events were awarded certificates, medals, and trophies in recognition of their outstanding performances.
