Mangaldai Commerce College celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15th August 2025 with great zeal, enthusiasm, and patriotic spirit. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag at 7:30 AM by Mr. Ranjit Sarma, Principal (i/c), Mangaldai Commerce College, in the presence of the teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and students of the college.
Following the flag hoisting, all the members present joined together in singing the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and national pride.
On the occasion, Mr. Ranjit Sarma, Principal (i/c), delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance and significance of Independence Day. He spoke about the long struggle for India's independence and paid tribute to the invaluable contributions and sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and patriotic leaders who dedicated their lives to the cause of the nation.
The Principal also emphasized the responsibilities of the younger generation in preserving the values of freedom, unity, democracy, and national integrity. He encouraged the students to become responsible citizens and contribute positively towards the progress and development of the country.
The celebration concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and commitment among the members of the Mangaldai Commerce College family. The programme successfully commemorated the historic occasion and reminded everyone of the sacrifices made in achieving India's independence.
