Mangaldai Commerce College organized a Hands-on Training Programme at Assam Power Distribution Company Limited, Mangaldai on 17th March 2026 (Tuesday) under the theme “Bridging the Gap Between Classroom & Industry.”
The programme was conducted by the Department of Accountancy in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The primary objective of the programme was to provide students with practical exposure to real-world industrial operations.
During the training session, students were introduced to various operational aspects of the power distribution sector, including billing systems, accounting procedures, and customer service management. The officials of APDCL provided detailed demonstrations and interacted with the students, helping them understand the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
The students actively participated in the programme and engaged in meaningful discussions with the officials. This interaction significantly enhanced their understanding of industry practices and improved their professional awareness.
Such initiatives reflect the institution’s continuous effort to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, thereby contributing to the development of competent and industry-ready graduates.
