On 4th February, 2026, The Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff of Mangaldai Commerce College organized the Farewell Ceremony of Mr. Gautam Kumar Baruah, Libarian, Mangaldai Commerce College was organized with warmth and respect at Mangaldai Commerce College to honour his valuable service and contributions to the institution.
The programme was attended by the President of Governing Body, Principal, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students of the college. The ceremony began with a brief welcome address, highlighting Mr. Gautam Kumar Baruah’s dedication, sincerity, and commitment during his tenure at the college.
In his address, the Principal expressed heartfelt appreciation for Mr. Baruah’s loyal service and acknowledged his role in the smooth functioning and academic environment of the institution. Several faculty members shared their experiences and fond memories, recalling his professionalism, cooperative nature, and positive attitude.
As a token of love and respect, a farewell memento was presented to Mr. Gautam Kumar Baruah by the college authority. In his reply, Mr. Baruah expressed deep gratitude to the management, colleagues, and students for their support, cooperation, and affection throughout his service period. He fondly recalled his journey at the college and conveyed his best wishes for the continued progress of the institution.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by light refreshments. The farewell ceremony ended on an emotional note, marking a memorable and respectful send-off for Mr. Gautam Kumar Baruah.
