A series of training sessions under the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0 was successfully conducted at the Mangaldai Commerce College Campus from 13th July to 30th July 2026. The training programme was organized for beneficiaries from various batches and sectors, including Veterinary, Fishery, Agriculture, and Other Sectors. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from beneficiaries, resource person, officials, and other stakeholders.
The training sessions were highly informative and inspiring, featuring distinguished resource persons who delivered insightful presentations on entrepreneurship development, self-employment opportunities, business planning, financial assistance, project preparation, and effective implementation of the Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0 scheme. The resource persons encouraged the participants to develop innovative, practical, and sustainable business ideas while making effective use of the financial and institutional support available under the scheme.
The interactive sessions enabled the participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the application process, preparation of viable project reports, financial management, marketing strategies, and sustainable enterprise development. The resource persons also addressed the queries of the participants and provided practical guidance, making the training sessions engaging, interactive, and beneficial.
The programme aimed to motivate aspiring entrepreneurs to consider self-employment and entrepreneurship as viable career opportunities and to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of Assam. The participants expressed their appreciation for the well-organized training programme and acknowledged the valuable knowledge, practical guidance, and motivation gained through the sessions. They also expressed their eagerness to participate in similar programmes in the future to further strengthen their entrepreneurial skills and business capabilities.
The successful completion of the training sessions marks another significant step towards realizing the vision of a self-reliant, self-sustaining, and economically empowered Assam through entrepreneurship, innovation, and skill development.
