Mangaldai Commerce College organized an Oath Taking Programme under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative at the college campus on 31st March, 2026. The programme aimed to promote awareness regarding the importance of ethical voting and to encourage active participation in the democratic process.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college. The oath was administered by Mr. Ujjwal Jyoti Saharia, Assistant Co-ordinator, IQAC, Mangaldai Commerce College. In his address, he emphasized the significance of responsible voting and the role of citizens in strengthening democracy. He also encouraged the participants to uphold democratic values and actively engage in electoral processes.
Faculty members and students of the college participated in the programme with great enthusiasm. All attendees solemnly pledged to exercise their voting rights responsibly and to contribute towards building a more aware and participative society.
The programme concluded successfully with active involvement from all present, reflecting a strong commitment towards fostering electoral awareness and civic responsibility among the academic community.
