On 31st March 2026, the Department of Assamese, Mangaldai Commerce College, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Mangaldai Commerce College observed Chatra Divas–2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Upendra Nath Brahma. The programme commenced at 12:30 PM with ceremonial lighting of the lamp in front of portrait of Bodofa Upendra Nath Barhma, followed by floral tributes as a mark of respect and homage.
The programme formally inaugurated by Dr. Runumoni Lahkar Das, Principal of Mangaldai Commerce College. On this occasion, Dr. Runumoni Lahkar Das, Principal of Mangaldai Commerce College, addressed the students and highlighted the inspiring life journey, ideals, and significant contributions of Upendra Nath Brahma towards society and the student community.
The programme witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from faculty members and students, reflecting their respect and admiration for the ideals of Bodofa and reaffirming their commitment to uphold his vision.
