Mangaldai Commerce College successfully organized the live streaming of the Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Aasoni & Nijut Babu Aasoni–2026 programme on 6th August, 2026 in Hall No. 2 of the college. The programme featured the live address of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, and the Hon'ble Education Minister, Dr. Ranoj Pegu, highlighting the objectives and significance of the flagship welfare schemes for students.
The programme was graced by Mr. Gurujyoti Das, Chairman of Assam Fisheries Development Corporation Limited and former MLA of 50 No. Mangaldai Legislative Assembly Constituency, who attended the event as the Chief Guest and participated in the cheque distribution ceremony.
The programme commenced with a welcome address delivered by Dr. Runumoni Lahkar Das, Principal of Mangaldai Commerce College. In her address, she highlighted the manifold benefits of the Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Aasoni and Nijut Babu Aasoni schemes for students and emphasized their positive impact on society by promoting access to higher education and encouraging academic excellence.
The entire programme was smoothly conducted by Mr. Kamaleswar Deka, Nodal Officer, Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Aasoni & Nijut Babu Aasoni, Mangaldai Commerce College. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of the faculty members, office staff, and more than 200 students of the college.
Following the live telecast, eligible students were provided with the necessary application forms. The forms were formally distributed by Dr. Runumoni Lahkar Das, Principal of the college, in the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Gurujyoti Das.
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, the faculty members, the office staff, and the students for their wholehearted cooperation and active participation, which contributed to the successful organization of the event.
