A District-Level Quiz Competition was organised under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, 2026, by District Administration in collaboration with IQAC, Mangaldai Commerce College at Mangaldai Commerce College, Darrang, Assam. The programme aimed to enhance students’ general knowledge, intellectual curiosity, awareness and competitive spirit through an engaging quiz-based learning activity.
Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, 2026, is a month-long public service and outreach campaign observed from 17 September to 17 October 2026 to mark 25 years of public service by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. The campaign emphasises public participation, community engagement, social awareness and service-oriented activities, promoting the values of seva (service), civic responsibility and social commitment.
The competition was scheduled to commence at 10:00 AM and provided a platform for students to demonstrate their knowledge, analytical abilities and readiness to participate in academic competitions at the district level. The event encouraged healthy competition, knowledge-sharing and active student engagement beyond the classroom.
The programme witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from students representing the selected schools and colleges of under three constituency of the district. The competition created a stimulating academic environment and offered participants valuable opportunities to strengthen their critical-thinking, communication and problem-solving skills while developing confidence and a spirit of teamwork.
Following the successful completion of the institution-level competitions, the students securing the first, second and third positions were selected to participate in the State-Level Competition. This progression provided a valuable opportunity for the selected students to showcase their talents at a higher level and further their academic and intellectual development.
