Mangaldai Commerce College observed the 77th Republic Day on 26 January 2026 with great zeal, enthusiasm, and patriotic spirit. The programme was attended by the Principal, teachers, office staff, and students of the college.
The National Flag was unfurled at 7:30 AM by Mr. Ranjit Sarma, Principal (i/c), Mangaldai Commerce College. Following the flag hoisting, the teachers, office staff, and students collectively sang the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and national pride.
On the occasion, Mr. Ranjit Sarma addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance and significance of Republic Day. He spoke about the adoption of the Constitution of India and emphasized the values of democracy, justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. He also remembered with due respect the sacrifices and contributions of the patriotic leaders and freedom fighters who dedicated their lives to the nation.
The celebration concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and commitment towards upholding the ideals and values enshrined in the Constitution of India. The programme was conducted successfully with the active participation of the college community.
