Drawing, Quiz & Speech Competition Under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026

Mangaldai Commerce College organized a Drawing and Quiz Competition on 22nd September 2026 and a Speech Competition on 23rd & 24th September 2026 as part of the observance of Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026. The programmes were organized with the objective of engaging students in meaningful and creative activities, promoting awareness, and encouraging their active participation in co-curricular programmes.
Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026 is a nationwide, month-long public service and outreach campaign being observed from 17th September to 17th October 2026. The campaign has been launched to mark 25 years of public service by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and focuses on public participation, community engagement, social awareness and service-oriented activities across the country. As part of the campaign, various educational, cultural, awareness and community-oriented programmes are being organized by institutions and organizations to promote the spirit of seva (service), civic responsibility, social commitment and public participation.
The Drawing Competition provided an opportunity for students to express their creativity, imagination and ideas through art. It encouraged the participants to present their thoughts and perspectives in a creative and meaningful manner.
The Quiz Competition was organized to enhance students' general knowledge, awareness, intellectual abilities, analytical thinking and quick decision-making skills. It also encouraged healthy competition and active learning among the participants.
The Speech Competition, held on 23rd September 2026, provided a platform for students to express their views and ideas on issues related to society, public service, civic responsibility and nation-building. The competition helped the participants develop their communication skills, confidence, clarity of expression and ability to present their ideas effectively before an audience.
Following the successful completion of the Institution-Level Competitions, the students securing the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions from Mangaldai Commerce College were selected to participate in the District-Level Competition.
The programmes witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from the students of the college. The competitions created an engaging academic and co-curricular environment and provided the participants with opportunities to develop their creative, intellectual, communication and competitive abilities.
The programmes concluded successfully with appreciation for the active participation and enthusiasm shown by the students. The Drawing, Quiz and Speech Competitions under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026 thus served as meaningful platforms for promoting awareness, creativity, knowledge, effective communication, healthy competition and responsible participation among the students of Mangaldai Commerce College.
